Diapers and Deputation

Hi friends!

Thank you for your prayers for us over the past several months. We know we’ve been pretty quiet as far as updates go, and we’re grateful for this season of adjusting, connecting, healing, growing, and preparing to relaunch. We’ve been in Florida now for almost 6 months, and we’re so grateful for all that the Lord has provided for us during this time, including:

• financial provision through part-time work for both of us (for those of you curious about the details of our work, Josh has been enjoying getting to teach 6-8 grade Bible at a local Christian school, and Autumn found a administrative assistant position with a nearby salon which allows her to work remotely the majority of the time), as well as several supporters who chose to continue to support us during this time of transition and preparation to re-launch;

• a wonderful, church family who have welcomed us, and where we are forming sweet friendships, being discipled and discipling, and being given opportunities to plug in and serve in numerous ways;

• solid spiritual leadership and oversight from our church leadership, who have so purposefully cared for us spiritually and worked to grow trust and shepherd us well as we continue conversations and plans for returning to PNG.

In addition to the brief update of what our past several months have included, we have a couple of short but very significant updates for you all about the future.

PREPARING FOR A NEW LITTLE ADDITION

Many of you probably already heard about our latest bit of “big news” via social media or the grapevine, but we’re excited to share that we have a little baby Miller on the way! This is both an incredible blessing and a huge responsibility, and we’re grateful for your prayers for us as we become parents.

MOVING BACK INTO SUPPORT RAISING

This summer marks another change for us, as we, with the blessing of our pastors, will officially be moving back into focused support-raising. This will include several trips over the summer and early fall, and we look forward to sharing more with you all in the upcoming weeks as we get our travel itineraries set.
